From twitter...

#SUFC Owner Kevin McCabe tells me they are 'quite close' to signing Ched Evans and say it would be 'great to get Ched back' #twitterblades

Shock horror undisclosed; is there any other team that has had so many of these in recent times?

Not sure its fair to single out CFC in this respect...seems the vast majority of permanent deals are undisclosed these days.

I really wouldn't mind us (CFC) being the scapegoat to take all the flack to get Ched back into the game, prior to his move back to the team that was probably going to sign him when things had calmed down anyway, IF I thought we (CFC) we're going to get any of the benefit of the transfer fee back into the club to improve our squad.

But I just feel a bit shafted as a supporter in all this. It feels like we were used as a vehicle to make a few quid, and mocked by other fans for our troubles.

Hope I'm wrong and Caldwell gets a couple of hundred grand for other players but I'm not holding my breath.

That completely sums it up for me...CFC as pawn brokers, and as for GC getting anything, that will never be disclosed.

if we can find a striker who can score 8 goals from 29 games next season that will be an improvement.

And if we got £500k plus add-ons I would be over the moon, but as it's an undisclosed fee, I will take the figures given with a pinch of salt.

So will I, knowing our lot we'll be lucky to get £25k, but I am pleased with the Brookes signing, from what the Blades fans say at work he's a decent player.

Allegedly his father in law had a lawsuit against blunts for loss of earnings on Evans behalf which he agreed to drop if Sheffield Utd did a deal to sign him back from us. Sounds a little far fetched if I'm honest.

Loss of earnings while he was banged up?

Good luck with that!

Just looking at the match on Player, our players lacked physical upper body strength. They can't withstand challenges. I'd put Nolan, Gardner, Hird in that category. Joe Rowley, poor sod, didn't get a kick 'cos the ball was constantly played over his head. I hope Brooks's weakness isn't that he is too weak for L2.

The last piece of silver now sold, once the money hits the CFC account and commissions distributed hopefully DA will sell.
As for Ched, fit enough on the last weekend to pass Sheffield U fitness test but not fit enough to turn out for us.
My guess is this deal was agreed quite a while ago and Ched has not been played to avoid injury and ensure CFC get money in June.
Once again lining pockets is a bigger priority than avoiding relegation, bet AC is Buzzing tonight.

Still some lead to strip off the roof so he won't be planning to sell just yet

I can't fathom how anybody could be over the moon bearing in mind this money most likely won't help us out (not having a pop fella)

This is obvious and the excuses coming from the club were embarrassing when it was obvious to all.

No surprise he hasn't come out and said thank you to the Club and especially the fans who fawned all over him (many on here)- super CHED and all that.
