player ive ever seen play for town
That's rubbish. Couldn't hack it in midfield but a very good defensive fullback in the system that we played. I remember Duncan and Dyche telling me in a pub that the centre backs never doubled up on Perkins because he never got done by a winger.

He always gives 100% for the shirt and will do a good job for us in L2.

I'm asking because I think (only my humble opinion) that it's disingenuous to make such comparisons.
DD is a young player in only his second year as a pro, part of an absolutely dire squad in freefall. Is it fair to place him alongside all those are mentioned?
I have a feeling that in the future, the history and judgement of DD's ability and service to CFC may change. Give the bloke a chance and all that.
P.S. why has nobody mentioned Jason Lee?

I've always said he was the worst striker we've ever had, he even made the NEWT look slim.

I remember Darren Currie twisting Perkins inside out repeatedly as Barnet beat us at Saltergate. Currie was brilliant that day- shame he never played that well when he later signed for Town.

Andy Rushbury
Now that is what I call sh"te
Nigel Hart (Paul's brother) was the worst I saw until this season.
Andy Rushbury went on to make a record number of appearances for Belper Town. Nice lad.

What Dion needs is a captain like Dan Archer on his case. We'd see a different player.
I always remember hearing from the terrace Dan shouting at Ernie, who had scored 2 goals. 'Come on lad, you've not bludddy done yet'.
I'd like to think Branston is keeping a very close eye on how Portsmouth are handling Stanley Aborah's situation. He's a very good player, well known to Branston, OOC, made a very favourable impression in his last game but sub today.

Dion just needs to cool his temper on the pitch, he has the potential to become a quality utility player for us given the right leadership and encouragement.

Came off the bench and immediately caught my eye although I know absolutely nothing about him. I will check him out but he looked good.

Hearing a loan possibility to #Chesterfieldfc for Blades attacking prospect David Brooks. Fine young player. Could help all parties. #sufc
