Kevin talked about the trial of a betting booth provided by My Betting Room in the hospitality area of the stadium. If that proves to be successful, betting booths will be put on the concourses.

Kevin also revealed that a deal has been agreed with a company for the installation of a video scoreboard. This is to be sited at the corner of the stadium between the Rubicon Stand and Spencers Solicitors Stand.

Stephen admitted it was a “ridiculous own goal” to use a Sheffield United-angled report following the recent game at the Proact. He explained that he is keen to include more Spireites content in the paper and wants to work with the fans’ forum to address any issues that may arise. He is working with Nick to draw a line under everything that has happened previously and make a fresh start. He is happy to attend future meetings and welcomes feedback from supporters.

Kevin talked about the club’s commercial activities, pointing out that a number of new deals have been agreed in the eight weeks he has been at the club. This includes an agreement with East Midlands Trains, which will offer discounted train tickets for fans.

Chris was asked about the possibility of a canopy being installed above the ticket office window. He said that he would explore this.

When asked about the possibility of future concerts being staged at the stadium, Chris said that he felt it was too big a gamble for the club. “I personally wouldn’t do one as we have enough on our plate running the club,” he said.

Chris stated that an announcement regarding the Player of the Year dinner will be made soon. It will be a bigger event, featuring a big name, allowing more fans to attend.

Andy praised the “brilliant content” on Spireites Player, adding that it was “much improved”. He thinks there are some interesting video features available to view via the platform. Nick acknowledged the contribution of digital media editor Iain Pearce, who has introduced some good new ideas.

Chris said that away clubs are now being charged for supporters’ coach parking. They are being charged the amount the club is charged for coach parking at their ground.

Ian enquired about the possibility of staging an Open Day. Chris to consider a date.

Roy suggested an evening at the stadium featuring people from behind the scenes taking part in a Q&A session – chief scout/academy scout/head of academy recruitment, etc. Chris/Nick/Kevin to discuss.

Kevin revealed plans to hold an ‘Ernie Moss Day’ for the game against one of his former clubs, Port Vale, on January 10.

The next meeting will be held on Saturday, December 13 at 10am.

Thanks 👍

And I'd like to add, I take no notice of advertising boards and even if I did I'd still call the stands North East South West 👌

So do I to be honest (athough I actually call them the kop, the posh side, the community side and the away end...), but they've paid cash so that people employed by the club call them what they're supposed to ;)
