was it really that bad? the second goal was a quality strike, not really bad defending. sometimes you have to give credit to the other side.

A new hope.

Yeah Colchester to their credit did try to play football. Just in the first half we pressed them so high they resorted to the long ball. They identified the weak spot in our defence and exploited it, but both goals were quality finishes and not easy chances to take. We move on, hopefully Saturday we will put things right.

That's a fair summary. We dint have one our better days but credit sometimes must go to the opponents. The second goal was quality(or luck from the wind) and left Tommy with no chance
A new hope.

I don't get you I really don't. You moan that it was a waste of time traveling all that way then have a crack at someone because they didn't go.

Both goals were poor defending, for the second Evatt lost his player who got the ball with Evatt having to try to make 6 yards up to block a shot, he failed so for me poor defending.

We wernt that bad though. After their first goal it was end to end and could have gone either way. We lost to a quality moment (weather assisted possibly) which is what happens at this level. We had a shot very well saved and one cleared off the line even after they scored, we we're certainly the equal of them, just the luck fell with them this time.

Sounds like a broken record with us at the moment. We need to start winning ugly. Couldnt even blame conceding the first goal last night.

come on Dave, you've been going long enough to know you get absolutely no guarantees with football.

Whenever anyone goes to an away game, it should always be to watch us, not watch us win or play well.

A wasted journey should only be if the match was cancelled or you didn't make it.

Don't know him.

Do you work full time?
Do you have family commitments?
Do you have to watch the pennies?

If you can answer no to any of those questions then that's what's makes our special little superfan.
