Come on, stop winding him ip! Not even in the same league

Well he can tackle, he's faster, he's stronger, he can read the game, he makes himself available, he's better in the air, he can play the simple pass as well as the occasional defence splitting one, he has more goals in him, he's younger, he's played central earlier in his career and he's signed up whereas Jimmy seems to be struggling to last 90 minutes, has not yet signed a new contract and January is fast approaching.

Now tell me I'm winding him up.

Every time Darikwa has a game where a few of his crosses fail to beat the first man the haters come out.

Did you not witness his great bit of play to put the ball on a plate for Clucas/Doyle v Bristol City?

This lad is one of our main assets and will make us a bundle of money if and when he is sold.

His cross for Johnson which lead to our third vs Sheff U as well. His delivery is inconsistent and it was admittedly very poor on Saturday but he never, ever gets credit when he puts a decent ball in, that's something I've noticed on here. No idea why.

And, is there anybody prepared to say that Roberts is consistent with his passing and crossing?

Because that's his job. If he does it CONSISTENTLY well he'll get credit for that - just as he gets stick now because he's consistently not doing it.
One or two bad crosses are to be expected at this level - a regular supply of bad crosses gets you noticed. So does a supply of good ones.

Then the entire rest of our team need to be criticised (which, to be fair, you are doing).

I genuinely think people think Tendayi is fast cos he's black. Small/medium height black players are usually always seen by fans as fast for one reason or another - there is mileage in that theory, believe me. He's no slouch don't get me wrong but he's nothing special.

I'm really not sure where you've got "goals" from against Bristol City. He's at fault for part of the first goal granted but he wasn't the only one, Evatt put a simple clearance into his own net for starters lol. Tendayi should've got rid sooner but there wasn't much he could've done about their winger shifting it and crossing it, he certainly wasn't turned inside out. He couldn't do anything about the other two. Against Oldham I know one of their man took it inside him and shot over the bar but was there much else apart from that? I think he's been pretty solid defensively this season.

If Tendayi is turning the wrong way when an attacking comes inside there's someone to blame and it's the coaching staff.

Yes, you're right i didn't mean to add the 's' to goal re Bristol.

Re Oldham, he got beat a few times, more than the highlights show, and got turned to easily on a number of occasions.

Its not just a few though is it. I'll be amazed if 1 was actually any good on saturday.

And haters, no. You miss the point. We actually expect more from Darikwa because he can play better. He's played a lot better than that at the beginning of the season.

No we're putting the defence under the microscope and his performances of late warrent highlighting. I dare say, had the thread been about Evatt there might be criticism there too, like how we are letting ourselves get caught by playing very flat across the back at times - leaving ourselves wide open to a fast player and ball over the top.

Both our CBs want to be stoppers, they want to come out and nick the ball ahead of the striker which is great when it works but very dangerous when it doesn't.

Your mate is being slaughtered tonight even by those 250 miles away, it is all his fault, get in there and start defending him

Or is it cos boco is that bad he makes tendy look good??

Tendy is in the comfort zone only position at the club without any proper competition.

Not much competition for LB, centre backs and goalkeeper

Struggled going forward.

Really struggled at the back.

He works hard and is a honest enough player but we desperately need a natural right back
