That information I can't help with, this was just a generalisation of a situation with 2 guys who are not posters on this forum.

In other words, a load of unsubstantiated tripe spread by individuals who know just as much as the rest of us, i.e. nothing.

As far as I can tell three blokes with nothing really to go on reckon Sheridan now has no budget...if I’m reading it right....

You forgot to add in its possibly something to do with one of Carson’s figures so that was probably wrong seeing as he isn’t getting involved, so wouldn’t know his rse from his elbow. I.e. normal service

Very much doubt DA would be daft enough to chuck 300k a year to get a manager he seriously likes and rates, then shaft him with a crap budget.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

I don’t know where people get all their ‘insider’ information from...but the majority is just rubbish! All it does is create a wave of disharmony & negativity....when we should be looking ahead with optimism

Tbf the vast majority of "insider info" posted on this board by several posters over the last few years as proven to be far from rubbish. Far from it.
Edit, in fact it could well be said if some of that info hadn't been posted on here and certain issues brought into the public domain, then in some circumstances things could have been a whole lot worse.

I never got the impression we had a budget as big as last years. Didn't JS say he didn't need a big budget? Are we fussing about nothing? Some higher earners will be gone. Chill a bit until we see what hand we have been dealt.

You never learn, do you? How many times has your unfounded optimism been p'd on?

Poor ST sales probably aren't helping either. Not that this should come as a shock to anyone at CFC. Just been on a stag do and 5 CFC ST holders, all not renewing. Assume with the season we had, the prices going up they should expect some low crowds next season.

quite right. Why should fans be asked to pay extra to fund a £140k payment to Sutcliffe and Turner's old company? This is pure, unadulterated, up front mismanagement of cash on which Allen should take a direct hit.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Nothing really changes, DA has to call it, his/the clubs first gamble increasing season ticket prices, a possible winner if we are doing well and on the day numbers more than offset the initial revenue loses.
Budget next big gamble.

Regardless of inside information or other, it is fair to assume this will be one of the most pivotal seasons in the clubs history DA and the board know this.

Over on face book the signing of Hollis has immediately been seized on as budget cutting. My understanding is that JS rates him and can see potential for improvement and he wants to stay , not a budget only decision.

Shall we wait and see a bit before going into doom and gloom mode?
