Prices for the Liverpool tickets for the final have been announced....cheapest is £60 but only 20% of the allocation fall into this. 54% of tickets are priced at £154, 21% at £385 and 5% at £513!! On top of the allocation there are just 100 combined adult\child tickets at £120 for the pair but no other concessionary tickets are available. Bonkers pricing. Throw in the fact Easyjet are charging over £750 for a flight from Liverpool to Madrid on the Friday morning then £250 to come back on the Monday and accommodation costs have gone through the roof in Madrid as well then its not a cheap affair going out for the game!!
Apparently Spurs are yet to announce their prices which suggest they wont be the same which is strange....
Why? Why so expensive? It’s just another way for massively rich organisations to rip average punters off. It will always sell out, it will always make its money from tv/sponsorship/merchandise so why not make it £20-£50 maximum for all tickets allocated to the finalists? And while you’re at it up the allocation to the finalists. Around half the stadium will actually have fans in it the rest is for hangers on, journalists, sponsors, corporate partners etc. It’s nauseating.
I heard Alan sugar on the radio this morning saying all his family would be there and slagging the ticket allocations, I doubt he will be queuing up with the rest, I’m pretty sure his corporate tickets will come through his connections.
