Good point, but he was lauded as some sort of messiah when he was appointed, and many were swept up with the gusto just because (at the club lowest point in the clubs history PR-Wise) he started to address the fans like a mate, and added 'take care' to the end of his press releases. To his credit, he recognised the club was on its A55 and tried his best to re-engage the fans.
As soon as the winning streak (can 3 games be a streak??) was over, the comical press releases stopped and the connection with fans soon wained when he steered us through our longest win-less run ever.
By the time he'd tried to rebuild the spine of the team for the 3rd time in 5 months, the writing was on the wall.
Other than Barnet, I think he'll struggle to get another job at our level.
