Was speaking to a County fan yestdi, and he tells me they could be homeless in they are relagated, he says the ground is owned by a former chairman and there is a clause that states they must be a FL club to continue using it, don't know how true it is, but he seemed to be genuine and I have spoken to him a few times in the past.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Ground share with Forest. It’s just up the road over the Trent.

They'd come to some deal about it....whoever owns it isnt going to leave himself with a ground he cant do anything with!

You would think so, but how much is the owner in it for, how much does it owe him??
And how much is that land worth??
I would expect em to sort a deal if true, but the chap I spoke to was genuinely worried.

They're in trouble regardless of any ground issues. A replica of us last season, even to the extent of having two of our relegatees show 'em how it's done.

And potentially how likely are the council to grant any permission to redevelop the land. Agreeing to do it and potentially killing off one of the oldest football clubs is probably not going to make good political business!

They'll lose their claim of oldest league club too, more credit go to Sheffield Fc or will the now 2nd oldest league club then take the claim?

Which would be Stoke after researching it.

If we stay up and County come down and Stockport come up there will be quite a few tasty fixtures next season.

Can we claim to be the oldest National League club?

I was at a pub quiz for the first time in years t'other day (phones have killed them) near Nottingham and one question involved writing the ages of four clubs in order, namely Forest, Wigan, Chelsea and Chesterfield. I knew the foundation years of three of those (was unsure about Wigan) but got the order correct, only for him to casually announce that Chesterfield were the youngest, formed in (I quote) "Nineteen-something, can't remember". I couldn't be bothered to argue. He didn't restore my faith in pub quizzes.
These go to eleven.

I wonder how much demand Dennis will be in if he's going for the hat trick next season?

Wrexham are late to this party but they now claim to be formed in 1864 or something like that.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

He need look no further than Dean Saunders, just do an after dinner speech and some gullible idiot will take you on.

They are getting cut adrift and have to start winning fast. A bit like us ...

Got to green that one Fitzy. He couldn't wait to get away. Hope they go down and Dennis as yet another relegation on his cv. Atleast we got a big game next season.

Play Golf with a County Lad. They are averaging nearly 7,000 at home at the bottom of league 2. I'm guessing if they get relegated they will probably shift 4,000 to 5,000 season tickets in their first season in the Non League as,.... like CFC it was a bit of the novelty factor in a bizarre strange Freudian way. Also like us they are a well supported club and maybe they would think that they had a good chance of going straight back up. They will be the highest average attendance in the Non League undoubtedly.

They averaged 4800 a few seasons ago, not sure why they averaging 2000 more this season, unless it's cos of the 2 quid special
