So early into the season as well

That does not bode well for the long slog to come

No pun intended but you reap what you sow

 Predictable I suppose when expecting jobs to be done on the cheap. Now PP have their foot in the door just how reliable will they be?

That would put another £80k plus perks on the wage bill. Not a chance.

I'm baffled as to why we have continual growth in the deabt when CT is given the support as posted. Once and for all what is he responsible for and who if not CT is making such a pigs ear of the rest of the business.
God I hate this league.

It's a good job you change ends at half time otherwise they could get away with just doing one.

“It’s really difficult not to get bear areas in the goal area as goalkeepers will stand in there throughout matches. If you do lose grass you’ll have fibres to give you grass cover.”

Sounds like a perfect way to generate an additional stream to me, part time football (and I use the term loosely) stadium and part time zoological park.

I did notice last week that Clay Cross Town had installed a linesman running strip, very good it was too.

The pitch is the one thing that we have got right,no disrepect to the former groundsmen but the pitch is unbelievable.

I'm told the pitch work is all under the maintenance contract and will be used as a showcase for other clubs

Don’t like this artificial grass stuff though. Should make the laws of the game rule for only 100% natural grass pitches.

Its not full artificial but just some artificial woven in to make the pitch more hard wearing and not be playing on a pitches like we used to see years ago.

Also some of the 3G and 4G pitches you see now are really good and not like playing on the old artificial carpet like things you used to get.

I'm more interested in the statement that it is totally electric - but runs from a generator at the side of the pitch. So a low carbon footprint from the machine but a high one from the generator-very noble.

 Marvellous what can be achieved with actual machinery for the job in hand. But the pitch refurb contract is the bait. One hopes Jack can revitalise the teams fortunes.Don't think annual pitch refurbishment would be high priority in the National League.

Seems it is, as the pitch has been refurbed as usual this Yr, plus most of the pitches I've seen at other grounds have been in top nick too, it might be non league but the pitch's have been top draw... Best of all Borehamwood for me.. Theirs was quality.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+
