Crazy to think he was coaching my former universities team as recent as 2010. Moved quickly up the ladder.

He's done a great job and deserves all that's come to him so far. You can't fault him for wanting to himself in the Premier League.
He'd be leaving Swansea at a good time for him when you consider how many players are leaving when their contracts expire. I think they'll struggle for quite a while now.

If he(or they) goes there it would be interesting to see how Lincoln deal with that potential loss.
Perhaps similar to our demise when Cookie left?
Or would those at the top table at LCFC push the boat out to continue the momentum created at the club, unlike ourselves?

Cowley will go sooner or later, and Lincoln have been low enough for long enough even the most gormless fans to have to developed an idea of the pragmatism that runs through the game, and wont be wingeing on about loyalty in the way a lot of ours did when Cook left. One thing about a spell in non league, it can add a note of realism in the stands and in boardroom , although admittedly its a bit harder when you've got a balloon full of meat paste running the show.

There's more chance of me getting the Barcelona job and leading them to the World Cup Final than Cowley getting the WBA job.

I don't remember the Lincoln Chairman flogging their best players to counter huge losses resulting from his own decisions.
But it seems inevitable that Cowley will be lured away sooner rather than later.
And yeah, it'll be interesting to see if their bubble bursts at that point...

Not sure how well they would work if separated - Town made enquiries for Nicky couple of years ago

That may well be so, but my point is that he'll go somewhere and that hopefully Lincoln have seen enough of the realities of life at our current level of the game to (a) actually prepare for it and, (b) give him the thanks and credit he deserves when he does.
