keep an ear out amongst supporters, the whispers seem to be growing ever louder about the alledged real reason allen continues to throw money at CFC.

Some suggestions that he wants us to go into administration to hasten the end game, and that relegation would be the quickest route and would raise least suspicion.

For those slow of brain on a Sunday morning is another word for 'wash' 'launder'?

Private Eye Latest.........

The world of football is reeling this afternoon from the shock news that Chesterfield Football Club's Director Of Football Chris T. Earner planned to replace his entire first eleven with washing machines.

Earner, 69, said 'I realised that they can run for 90 minutes and have a little green light which shows when they are warmed up and ready. The Hotpoint WMA0743P model is 2 metres high and is very useful in a defensive wall  and for blocking corners. Also, I think I can get even more out of them if I position each one near a sprinkler.'

Sadly, Earner was unable to complete his rebuilding plans after failing to persuade Manchester United to part with their prize asset.  'I tried to get Sir Alex to sell me Zanussi but he wouldn't budge', said Earner.
The revolutionary initiative was not universally welcomed.  Head Physio Roger Wylde resigned , saying that the idea of sending him on a stopcock  and PTFE training course was 'stupid'.

Company Secretary Ashley Carson was ' not aware' of the plan. He will now attempt to find new clubs for  those machines unable to get a game. 'Part exchange may be an option' he added.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Just word association. That's all.

I'd like this end game to hurry up. I don't like not going to matches. I don't like shrugging and quietly shaking my head as I see another opposition goal flash up on a screen.

If it's non-league so be it but I just want my CFC back & not this hollowed out shell that's being knowingly led into oblivion.

But, as I mentioned before. Westbars - it’s not known widely enough.
More fans need to be aware.
As it stands, the vast majority of stay aways are those that bought into the fairy story of ‘Championship football in five years’, enjoyed the ride while it lasted, then, when the wheels fell off, they just walked away feeling let down. The malice behind it all never crossed their minds.

Anybody who thinks what is happening is part of a successful long term plan is wrong. Allen is in panic mode. This is pure guesswork but in my opinion the appointment of a CEO - something supporters know should have been done years ago, is a mechanism to a) give Carson a way out and b) find a buyer sharpish.

They feel let down. They see incompetence and arrogance. That's enough. They aren't returning any time soon regardless of any deeper motive and those that remain will, for the most part, be sat in the same seats next season.

By the time the final hand gets played it'll be too late to do anything about it.

I hope you're right. No signs of the latter though - didn't Carson say the club is no longer for sale? (Yeah I know, but some lines from above can be believed)

Two theories and I don't know which one is correct, but the underlying fact is that we cannot move forward as a club until DA has gone

Absolutely not.

Things need to move fast and soon. Carson needs to know he's in the metaphorical firing line with the crosshair locked on his temple.

I've looked at the home fixtures up until Christmas. With the terminal decline in results, league position and lack of entertainment, I can see crowds hovering around the 3,000 -3,500 mark.

With a first-round FA Cup Exit and an exit from the Checkawasteoftime cup, Darth will surely have to chuck in a big wad of cash to cover the horrendous lost money from poor crowds.

I'm hoping the HMRC come a calling for unpaid taxes, and administration is not far off.

If we enter administration before the end of the season, Darth and his friends are gone, with massive losses to boot, with a club relegated to non-league football.

If the relegated club is not out of administration by a certain deadline during the summer then its all the way down the slippery snake to the Northern Premier, if we're lucky, as the National League won't touch us. They are far more strict about that sort of thing than the FL. I can't see Allen letting it get to the administration stage, and lose the lot, when the football club is dying anyway, and leaving him with the stadium and land.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

I think the reason the fans, as a whole, aren’t rising up in anger against DA is because, away from this board, no one is really aware. They just see a mismanaged club going down the pan and don’t understand what’s actually going on.
We really need a journalist to start digging - Graham at the DT would be a start - to establish exactly what is (or isn’t) happening.

Very true! Supporters have been had via the boiling frog method.

Last 7 words.....

Maybe propose a vast rent to a new Phoenix club that they can’t afford?

Eyesore of a crumbling stadium (happening already...) on the prime gateway to chesterfield or “go on then I’ll let you build some houses next to my lovely casino....”. ?
"Can't change or choose your football club. Sorry son"
