I don't do any other social media, so could someone provide examples of what Crawley fans think of Dunford?

Surely they're best placed to offer an insight.

Thanks.

The son of the former Crawley Chairman has also had his own problems.

Now Carson, like Dave Allen, doesnt have to answer any questions. If we go non league he can still hide from any questions. Dunford is happy to be paid to face the questions and he can say the problems all preceded his work here. Meanwhile we are in the Vanarama

Following the takeover of Crawley back in March 2016 Ziya Erin had this to say about the club.

http://www.crawleyob...media-1-7319830

Over the past five years Crawley Town has reached League One status. Unfortunately, since then, a downward spiral has occurred.

This is because of a lack of stability, organisation, modern strategies and policies. The club has been operating at a financial deficit for the past five years.

This is not an ideal platform for any football club to grow from. If the club is to move upwards it is vital to fine-tune all aspects of the club.

Commercial and sponsorship. The club has performed below expectations on the commercial front.

Are you sure that’s Crawley because it sounds very familiar......

Where will this appointment leave Sally Swain, pushed under a bus?

In the Balearics, if the holiday photos on Facebook are at all recent.

It'll bite him one day though..sooner or later someone will bump into him at a game or in a pub, and say right mate, you're not behind your keyboard now! Not at threat or intent or anything like that, it's just that these things bite you on the bum in real life. Like I've said along with many others on this thread , folk would be happy to meet him to discuss things over a pint, not only does he reject the offer but continues with his snide digs, and people like that will always get caught out sooner or later.

Now that his Facebook profile has done the rounds, that might well be the case.
A new hope.

I don't either, but I've been shown an allegation by a Crawley fan on Twitter that their former CEO withheld the real name of their new owner from fans. Whether that is true and whether it was devious even if true, I don't know. I'll ask him.

So...2 weeks into the job and we've heard very little from our new CEO other than an initial press interview with the usual sound bites. Yes he's a lot to get his head round no doubt, but given the disasterous previous 2 years I'd have thought he'd want to hit the ground running with regard to building a fan relationship which has been non existent. What do we think.....he's deep in talks with DA and AC with them telling him exactly what he can't talk about? Or could he be working round the clock trying to get his 1st decisions and comments exactly right to get people on side?

Either way, I think he needs to come out very very soon and build bridges with us. A meet and greet is absolutely essential to at least setting his stall out on how he wants to take this club forward.

Tbf to him, he has taken the time to meet all the people working at the club, finding out who does what and what isn't being done. He has said that he's going to be doing open surgeries as well and it shouldn't be long until the AGM.

Is it this one that he sent on the 5th to @ChesterfieldFC?

Dishonest, duplicitous, fan-alienating crook. The Crawley fans’ only regret is that he didn’t leave sooner.

Another great interview by that lass.

MD is certainly a breath of fresh air compared to the dross that's been trotted by the previous regime. Prudence, honesty, good recruitment, hard work; all things that DA has ignored in the past.
