Surely they're best placed to offer an insight.
Thanks.

Following the takeover of Crawley back in March 2016 Ziya Erin had this to say about the club.

Over the past five years Crawley Town has reached League One status. Unfortunately, since then, a downward spiral has occurred.
This is because of a lack of stability, organisation, modern strategies and policies. The club has been operating at a financial deficit for the past five years.
This is not an ideal platform for any football club to grow from. If the club is to move upwards it is vital to fine-tune all aspects of the club.
Commercial and sponsorship. The club has performed below expectations on the commercial front.

Are you sure that’s Crawley because it sounds very familiar......

I don't either, but I've been shown an allegation by a Crawley fan on Twitter that their former CEO withheld the real name of their new owner from fans. Whether that is true and whether it was devious even if true, I don't know. I'll ask him.

Either way, I think he needs to come out very very soon and build bridges with us. A meet and greet is absolutely essential to at least setting his stall out on how he wants to take this club forward.

Tbf to him, he has taken the time to meet all the people working at the club, finding out who does what and what isn't being done. He has said that he's going to be doing open surgeries as well and it shouldn't be long until the AGM.

Dishonest, duplicitous, fan-alienating crook. The Crawley fans’ only regret is that he didn’t leave sooner.

Another great interview by that lass.
MD is certainly a breath of fresh air compared to the dross that's been trotted by the previous regime. Prudence, honesty, good recruitment, hard work; all things that DA has ignored in the past.
