I thought it may be useful to create a thread for collectors to help each other out to find the elusive programmes they are after. This could pop up when people need help or disappear if no-one is interested.

If you are not interested in collecting Chesterfield programmes, team sheets or tickets or other memorabilia then apologies and please ignore this thread.

I do know that there are a good number of collectors of Chesterfield items and have met many of them.

I started collecting programmes and my collection has now evolved to start collecting team sheets and ticket stubs although I now have a healthy programme collection my tickets and team sheets collection is still quite small.
My aim is to collect all programmes from 1945 and need another 201 to complete my collection plus some friendlies.

Getting tickets and team sheets for this season has been a challenge but thanks to a team effort I am only missing a ticket stub from the Halifax game as they didn't print any.

If anyone has any ticket stubs or team sheets they no longer want I am happy to take them off your hands and may even offer money for them!!

I will start this off by listing some items I am after for my collection.

A home ticket from the 2016/17 season at home against Peterborough
Home and away tickets and team sheets from any season before this

Programmes
I am missing a number of pre season friendlies pre 2009
2001/02 Bentford A postponed game of 05/01/02
2000/01 Brighton A postponed game of 24/03/01
1994/95 Hereford A with insert
1993/94 Doncaster H with insert
1969/90 Crewe A postponed game of 03/01/70
1968/69 Newport H postponed game of 08/02/69
1963/64 Bradford PA A
1960/61 Leeds H in cup
1957/58 Carlisle A
1956/57 Away games at Darlington, Mansfield, Southport and Wrexham

I have many gaps pre 1956

Send me a PM if you can help

I have created a basic spreadsheet that helps any collectors record what they have in their collection and happy to share this with anyone who is interested and have done this with a few people already.

I have many spares with my collection so happy to help out other fans.

I've probably only got 100 or so programmes as I stopped buying them in the main a few years back but have 300+ match tickets from my 20 odd years of going to games. Frustrating this season paying on the gate at a few games and not getting a stub but looks like you have had more joy than I have.

Was the Peterborough home game the boxing day one? I'll have a ticket for that if so you are welcome to.

If anyone can help, I have been trying to locate the programme for my first ever CFC game from the 1962/3 season when we drew 2-2 at home v Lincoln City. Thanks to anyone who looks!

Same here, done 50 years without missing a (FA) cup game and fail to get a programme for the next to last one.

Last regular league game. I was being a little pedantic, for which I apologise!

Looking at the final league table, they only made the play-offs due to Bournemouth’s failure to win a home game they would have expected to, so the programme could well have been for the final game.

Just a quick follow up and thanks again to Benno Spire who very generously handed me his spare programme from the game v Lincoln on the 1st September 1962 which was my first CFC game.
It was also great to meet a fellow Bob’s Board member and have a chat about programme collecting generally before enjoying a last game of the season full of flowing entertaining football and being desperately unlucky not to go home with 3 points. Actually, the last bit might not be entirely accurate! Cheers Benno

The programme printed for the game v CFC was an A4 size special edition and was stated as the last ever league game at Springfield Park.

I agree the Man City play off game was the last game there, however the one v CFC is universally accepted in the programme world as being the one most collectable and commands the higher price.
