David Cameron: man of the people.

Said no one, ever.

By the way, Tory Mayor of London Boris Johnson heads a committee that hands over the Olympic Stadium to West Ham for peanuts. And who's CEO of West Ham? Why none other than arch Tory Karren Brady, of course.

Hmmm...

I think you will find that it is a Government that runs the country, not a person. Policies are important, not personalities.

Tell that to the voters, if labour don't win its because they have kept milliband in charge.

West Ham were always the obvious and only realistic choice of team to take on the stadium.

Just how do you quantify that remark? It's the same old throw-away political comments that people seem to make on this board without any substance whatsoever. One frequent poster recently remarked that Labour have poor economic policies (pre-manifesto); when I questioned him to elaborate further he disappeared without further comment, and similar stance posters who had the opportunity to defend the op also failed to add to the discussion.

For Villa & West Ham, replace with Sheffield United & Chesterfield and then swap Cameron for our local MP Toby Perkins who would have you believe he is a Spireite when actually he is Blade.

There you go, our Chesterfield MP who will be hoping the Blades beat us and get promoted to the Championship!

He's actually more of a rugby man - but then looking at the size of him that's hardly surprising!

Funnily enough I had this conversation with the man himself a few years ago.

Toby's a rugby man first and foremost, but admitted going to Bramall Lane on occasion. I told him to be honest rather than pretend to be something he isn't, as Cameron's done. I don't think he's ever claimed to be a lifelong Spireite - unlike many townsfolk who suddenly say exactly that when demanding tickets for a high profile game - but as the town's MP has a responsibility to be as supportive as possible. As he was when lobbying the FA on the Club's behalf following the MK cock-up.

Seems a case of damned if he does attend Town games - there'll always be those who accuse him of bandwagon jumping - and damned if he doesn't - by others who'll accuse him of not giving a damn about CFC.

Which is basically what you're doing with David Cameron.

Don't you get enough of the smooth *** on the telly without inflicting him on us on the message Board?

Who do you trust to run the country, someone who can't cope with a bacon sandwich or a man who eats a hotdog with a knife and fork
