Just like every other supporter throughout the land. They are no more special or better than any others . Portsmouth just like every other football team in the land mean nothing to me. I support and love just the one team Chesterfield. Having good thoughts about any other team is like having an affair behind your wife's back.

Of course it isn't! Pffft Wrong is wrong whether you're found out or not. And, of course, even if nobody else knows what you've done, YOU know.
You may fool the whole world
Down the pathway of life
Getting pats on the back
As you pass
But your final reward
Will be heartache and tears
If you cheated
The man in the glass

All they've done is target the manager they want in the same way we did when Cook was at Accy. And the same way some of us are now suggesting pinching Hill from Rochdale. Let's not forget the bizarre talking up of such a move by our CEO and a friendly journalist, either, even to the point of publicising clauses in Cook's contract. We can only guess the reasons why. Most of all Pompey must've had a good idea Cook'd be interested to make the initial enquiry. Where did that come from?
Nah, when it comes to attributing blame the targets are much closer to home than the south coast. Besides, all PC has to do is state he's standing by the new deal he signed only a few months ago. But of course he's repeatedly refused to do so.

You took me seriously. That was your first mistake.

It's the timing of it, just before crucial games for us.. Cook was signed in October and Richardson after end of season. If we "pinched" Hill it would be after the season ends

I made a mistake? I think sir is himself mistaken. I like you (for some reason) - probably because you're young and in good shape (so I believe) and I'm a laydee of a certain age.
I was reasonably sure you didn't mean it but, for all those who think it's OK to play away (and there are plenty), I just thought I'd say my piece.

Exactly, it was a bit daft to think otherwise or no one would ever approach other clubs for their managers otherwise
When a club is about to embark on a playoff campaign then that isn't the time to ask a club if they can have their manager. It stinks and all they are trying to do is upset the applecart and or get in their first in case other clubs higher up the pyramid become involved (especially if Cook did take little Chesterfield to the Championship on a shoestring).

Bang on Chris. I said in another post I would expect us to do the same (and to an extent we have by CT mentioning Keith Hill). Maybe Pompey were ungentlemanly due to their timings but they haven't done anything wrong.
