With the play off crowd the average reached 6.987.

The alleged play off crowd you mean. They are having a laugh with that one.

I know it was said tongue in cheek but in reality we will have received greater income than the 7,000 target. The club themselves said about 5-10% of ST holders don't turn up per match so the real income we've generated is based on 7,200+

Unless it's the other income they're relying on: food and drink, programmes, 50-50, shop purchases, advertising views. Although those season ticket holders have paid they're not getting any additional revenue from them.

Given DA’s comments in an interview that 7000 wasn’t enough anyway (or did I dream it  ), I wonder just exactly how many they need through the doors to be content?

On another topic, running at a 70% (approx) capacity must make for a better atmosphere than other teams with bigger stadium but lots of empty seats, don’t you think?

Highest crowd for the opening game of the season since we came to the new ground 6431 (season 1); definitely beatable! :)
Fight for your opinions, but do not believe that they contain the whole truth, or the only truth.

We will beat that no doubt.

Would have annihilated it if we'd have given Barnsley the extra 800 they got last year.

Average is well over 7000 in terms of tickets sold, ST holders not showing up etc.
