Don't know how to post it on here but a fascinating read on their website with an interview with the chairman, they had 46 home pay on the gates fans through their turnstiles Saturday.

Smaller club than Hucknall or Eastwood. Would not be in this division without the current owner.

The opposite of our situation.

Just read it. He sounds exasperated and you can't blame him. Smaller club than Staveley.

This really shows what an absolute shyteshow the current owners have made of running the club when we are below these lot in the league table.

Borehamwood will always suffer because of where they are. Less than five miles away is Watford, about 8 miles Arsenal and Spurs, <3 miles even Barnet who will have historically taken away any lower league support. It's a commuter town that exists essentially only for London workers so the sense of community is far less. On Saturday they had Arsenal with an early KO which likely affected attendance, then Spurs were starting at 5.30. Paying £18-£20 isn't doing them any favours, either. The £99 ticket offer is generous but he answered his own question- it's too cheap. There's no obligation to go when you get your moneys worth after less than 6 games.

For a businessman he didn't show much business acumen by thinking he could make them much more than they are given the circumstances.

His piece in the match day programme last week was interesting. Took the line in there that the “name” clubs who have fallen into the National League are there for a reason. As he puts it “..there have been different levels of club or team mismanagement through poor ownership, through having no workable business plan, through monies spent that clubs don’t have and through owners signing off on unsustainable budgets, but also through wrong or hasty managerial appointments, a lack of patience which is often followed by poor player and staff recruitment” I think we can tick some of those off!

Why is he complaining, if he doesn't enjoy throwing money down the drain he should pack it in. Hope they go down

Wonder what his view on our attendances would have been if he was here during our league 1 season. Wonder if he would have had a dig or appreciated them.

Good to see them providing the actual attendance

Mismanagement and poor ownership. - check.

No workable business plan - check

Money spent the club didn’t have - check.

Owner signing off unsustainable budgets - check.

Wrong or hasty manner Geri Allen appointments - check.

A lack of patience resulting in poor staff and playing recruitment - check.

Yes, he’s described CFC as run by Allen and Carson.
A new hope.
