Getting up the next day if we lose will feel like you've had a late one the night before, if we win you won't even notice, you'll be up early making plans for Solihull ;)

Steady on I'm up at 5am every day whilst not working.
God I hate this league.

Tyson can’t start unless we sub him at half time, he’s better against tiring legs later on in games.

I’ve been thinking about this since we limped over the line on Sunday, and it’s really quite surreal that a team that’s as bad as we have been for months now is about to compete in the play offs.

I wonder if in the history of the play offs, there has ever been any team or set of fans that has gone into a play off campaign so devoid of confidence, so devoid of any idea how to create chances. The last 3 and a half games not just without a goal, but basically with barely a sniff of a goal (Grimes v stockport the only real chance I can think of).

Is there any chance we can transform ourselves from that into 3 performances that would see us back in the FL? Extremely unlikely you have to think, but I guess that’s why we all love football so much, because you just never know.

Come on town!!!

Here's hoping mate, i am not being negative just realistic

That said how big a shock would it be us beating Halifax? How much would you bet on them to beat us? Coming 7th we couldn’t have had a better draw. We’ve a chance.

Totally with you, but only if the fans turn up in great numbers and use their voices collectively.

This is Halifax who have the best home record in the league? 53 points from their 22 home games - only conceded 11 in those 22. We have a chance but it’s deffo not an easy route! It’s the hardest away game we could’ve asked for!

I'd prefer the players to turn up, but there's been precious little evidence of that for far too long...

Agree with most views. Maybe not popular but I would play Maguire in his old role on the left. I thought he was one of the soundest defenders in the earlier part of the season and then the system was messed around with and so was he. Shame. He also knows where the net is which is unfortunately not the case of many of our attacking players (midfield included).
I saw the Stockport vs Halifax highlights the other night and I was impressed with the finishing - both calmness and technique for both goals which have been sadly lacking from us in the latter part of the season.
Assuming Maguire stays on the bench then we can only hope we get lots of free-kicks so DR can take us to the next stage 🤞

Don't big them up. We played ok there last time. Aldershot drew there a few weeks ago. It's doable if the players perform

Last time we let them back into the game when we were on top, awful finishing from reasonable chances. Let’s hope that our defensive resolve stands firm whilst we take a chance or two.

As a side issue am I right in assuming loan deals are over now the full season is over.

Imo the pressure is more on them, at home against the team with the worst form in the playoffs, they will be expected to win, tbh I expect them to win, and if we're honest I'd say the majority of us will be travelling more in hope than expectation..
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

It would be a very interesting 'build-a bet' Ian, would love to see the odds. I'd say our chances 3 zeros in the goals for column would be a lot higher than 3 clean sheets, each one over 120 minutes, so equivalent of 4 clean sheets really, in terms of 90 minutes.

It's 28/1 on Bet365 for it to finish 0-0 after 90 and then us win on penalties. Given we would be bigger priced outsiders at both Solihull and Wrexham let's say those who would 40/1 each.

Starting with a £1 you'd have about £45000 at the end of it.

You even get the wriggle room of a goals in drawn extra-times.
