You absolute men. Treating women as things to just look at, I'm appalled. Of course, I wouldn't possibly suggest taking a look at Linzie Janis.

Absolutely filthy eyes.

I'll get the daggers from our lass if she ends up reading this...

That's correct but she left him to go and live with  Crewdson after three months of marriage. Can't remember where it was documented but I was pretty gobsmacked to read it.Someone discussing it used the unfortunate words "That'll get tongue's wagging" no doubt it will.

Lucky boy, didn't he leave the beeb for pastures new and then had to go back with cap in hand. My memory is frustratingly rubbish.

Yes he went to work for The Rugby League for a time, I thought that was his number one sport.

My wife has always wondered what happened to Keeleys's marriage (she soon lost the big diamond ring she had on her third finger). Well, I have been able to tell her now.

And she says I waste far too much time on this board and I have nothing to talk to her about! Not now.

Yes, I did know that. My brother played against him a few times in the Northern Intermediate. They had a good youth side that effectively became the team that won the Division Three championship in 1980. Tony Ford, Kevin Drinkell, Kevin Moore, also came through the same way.

I don't have to suffer Look North any more so I looked up these lasses and came across this:

http://www.new-606.c...d.php?tid=25223

...it mentions the two ladies but what amused me most was the deadpan recommendation of The Leaking Boot as a boozer.
These go to eleven.

Is that the same Tony Ford who played for Mansfield? I think he lived on the estate at the side of Cineworld in Town.

Yes indeed. Played 355 games for Grimsby and latterly 103 for Mansfield when he was aged 37 to 40. (Even then he moved onto Rochdale). He made 931 FL appearances in total.
