What about the cushions they used to have at Hillsborough? Seemed a good idea- until fans began showing their wrath at yet another inept performance, and started throwing them onto the pitch.

Our seats are padded so no need.

you do know a bovril won't actually warm you up right? it will literally make 0% difference to your body temperature.

On a cold day holding a warm drink in your hands and drinking it will raise your temperature as the blood in your hands will heat up and circulate through your core and as does the warm liquid when you drink it.

This feeling of warming up is short lived as the body reacts when your core temperature is exceeded by making you sweat; when your sweat starts to evaporate it cools you down.

basically. nerve receptors in your tongue tell your body that summat hot is coming and you need to start sweating - the effect it has on your cooling system will be negligible compared to the temporary warm hands making the whole 'drinking to get warm' idea pretty much pointless

what a fascinating discussion this has been
