Loadsa Town fans, loadsa beer, terrific stadium (see, we can be magnanimous in defeat - why couldn't some Dorbeh Carnteh fans be magnanimous in victory?), terrific football - just lacking that extra ten percent in front of goal, and altogether a memorable day out.

Sam Morsy is just amazing.

Massive pat on the back for Sam Hird, too.

Infact no one let themselves down yesterday (Doyle was marked out the game).

Bangin' hangover but lovin' Town at the moment.

Magnanimous is one hell of a word to come up with when suffering a "bangin hangover"

totally agree with all you say, on this occasion!!!!

Must admit I haven't supped that many at lunchtime for a few years, but what a great place for a pub crawl - or just stay in the Brunswick and crawl through the beers.
That music pub just opposite the station was a mistake though. Rough place with antique beer.

Add the Silk Mill, Flower Pot, Brewery Tap - Derby is excellent for real ale pubs.

And easy on the train. Better leave off or I'll be tempted to watch the animal molesters.

although we didn't have the session on the ale due to the drive, it was a great day out.

A good performance that left us,and the team able to leave with our heads held high. A great stadium. almost 6000 town fans, and where I was the singing barely stopped apart from a period at the end of the 1st half.

The highlight, such as it is in a 2-0 defeat, was the response of town fans following the second Derby goal. 10 minutes of great noise in a game lost.

A new hope.

Cooper's Tavern in Burton pre match.

Superb ales and great selection of pork pies.

Back into town afterwards White Swan and Alehouse on West Bars.

Then straight into West Bars Tandoori for a meal and finished it all off with a few more in The Portland.

Massive hangover Sunday morning easily rectified with full English in Crossroads Café.

Completely agree - thought we were magnificent and had we managed a little more cutting edge I reckon we could've taken something. Most of the Derby fans I've spoken to since the game have paid us a number of compliments, and rightly so.

So some of you boys must've been the ones I ended up drinking with in the Brunswick? Assume that some of you are even the ones I shared a taxi with from the Portland to get there. Great day out, well played Spireites!

great day out, went with Bridge Inn, all went smoothly, great ground and atmosphere from Town fans, great performance up until the shooting and crossing (if Darwikwa could cross a ball he'd be a premier league player!) - players were all great, proper grand day out!
