Some dodgy statements here tbh. What forum you guys going on? On the main forum the general opinion is that town played well. It was obvious everything was going through Morsey, why no1 closed him down I will never know. We were terrible, largely in the first half due to the fact that 2 of the 3 CB's didn't have a clue what they were doing and a lot of the time being caught in no mans land. Second half again an unfamiliar formation. SM said after the game he wanted to use the game to smaple a plan b/c and we were lucky but for all your good play and endeavour I would argue Lee was the busier keeper. It's no good creating the chance if you can't convert them.
Southport did out sing you but that's to be expected when you bring so many who don't travel away that often.

As for the idiot who mentioned the Philpott chant at Fulham I was there and can't recall hearing that. No true rams fan would do anything like that.

All in all you did well and are credit to League 1. But I suppose the different in class shone through.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

I presume Chris Martin is normally better than that.

A rubbish dive and that was about it. Has the physique of a pub player too.

Quality player on his day. By far the best all round striker in the championship. And if I'm not mistaken theres no striker who's scored more in the last 18 months. He has so much to his game, his vision, hold up play and finishing is all top notch.

They cant really quote on our performance because they were second best and being a league 1 side totally embarrassed them with our constant attacking. All this hype about bad performace against forest they didn't perform badly we just never let them play (headless chickens cums to mind) and there supporters will know that.I had quite a few mates in derby end and all I could think was them sitting there in AWE of the way we played. All that was lacking was a goal.

Mmm I wouldn't say we sit in awe. According to most managers we play the best football outside the premiership. These will be managers who see a hell of a lot more of us that those on here. Today we were shocking. Look back to other games this season and you will see that.

As most fans and we have enough, take the tinted glasses off.

Jones had a few moments himself today. Was it him who did the fish out of water against Sheff Utd? 😂😂

The class he showed was saying after the game we were better than most of the teams you played in the championship

The loudest chants in the game were generated by us so that doesn’t say much for your lot especially given the number of home supporters. what’s your excuse for that?

Exactly. I'll agree Morsey shone for yo, head and shoulders above any other town player. But think he was still overshadowed by Hughes, capped off by the goal.

Well you'd hope so, Hughes is a potential top 4 prem player and his wages will be dwarfing Morsy's. Be a bit poor if he didn't.

Sitting in the north stand I would say that your lot an the south stand were on par. You started off okay and went quiet when we scored n remained so until the last 10. We never have been the loudest and have never claimed to be.

I doubt his wages will be dwarfing his. Our highest paid player is rumoured £12k a week. I'd prob say Hughes is on £8-10k. But admittedly I have no idea how much Morsey earns.

Thanks for the observation. I’ll give you mine.

The vast majority of your support started off silent apart from 2 (clinical) moments in the game remained so to the end.

Well why come out with crap in the first sentence if you have no idea about Morsey's wage

Why don't you clear off old chap
