It was a rather rubbish pat down though. They patted me down totally missing the two large pockets on my coat, I could have had anything in there and they wouldn't have found it.

No they aren't but they are very different things.

During the last few minutes of the match I saw her remonstrating with the stewards just behind the goal. A policeman saw this and went over to have a word with her

Actually I remonstrated with a steward as he insisted some, including one I had bought for, sit down despite their seats not actually existing! This didn't mean I was thrown out but did mean alternative seats were found.

Was sat just along from us and wasn't thrown out and wasn't abusing stewards. Stewards were trying to get some town fans on the front couple of rows to sit down but if they did that group of senior stewards stood up blocked the fans view of the goal. She was talking to the stewards to try and get this point across but they didn't really give a toss.

Forgive my ignorence again but I would have thought Life Boats would carry Flares and not Smoke Bombs. Maybe if I was out at sea at night and saw a stranded life boat I would expect a Flare.
But on a crowded concourse or sat watching a mobile Video and as a complete novice or someone who is totally oblivious to such things, all I saw was the smoke.
Why is there the need to try and ridicule, belittle people or argue the toss with everyone on BB.

The point was more about a Banned item and the Behavious of fans.
