Will this appointment and the positive noises coming out of the club tempt any of our stay aways back this Saturday then? Seems to be a concerted efforted from AC to get people back..wonder how successful they will be

A consortium takeover would bring more back... Let's hope Caldwell is just the first new face of many.

In my case no, partly because I am in exile down south and cant make it this weekend but mainly because, whilst I am happy to give money to the club and support them, I wont if it disappears down a mysterious black hole. It isnt a new CEO we need its a new FD who can keep proper control day to day on the numbers.....

Until then I will stick to away games only - Northampton, millwall and Gillingham to look forward to!
Stay Home. Stay Safe.

I am a season ticket holder who was thinking of staying away but didn't.

Now I won't be thinking of staying away and not staying away. I'll go without thinking about it.

I will however not be at the match Saturday as I work away 20 weeks a year.

So there are many reasons season ticket holders stay away not primarily because of the gang of three.

Recent times have left me disgruntled especially with our ex CEO but it's the lack of entertainment on the pitch that hits me more.

Make us entertaining on the pitch and people will return.
Non league refs WOW

I'll stick to my principles by not spending any more cash until Turner is gone. I will however, be present on Saturday to cheer the new manager on.

Do you not realise that CT isn't going anywhere? They've moved him downstairs, into a bull**it role and not got rid so you might aswell either bite the bullet or use a different reason to stay away because he ain't going to leave this club.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

You do wonder if some has been found down the back of the sofa. The next 14 days will tell us.

Well not paying for new back room staff and using someone already on the payroll should free up some dosh, that and Liddles wages, should see us us bring in at least 2 new faces, probably loans though as we aren't exactly beating players off with a sh1tty stick in our current predicament.

Yes I very much realise that, so as a consequence I will keep my money in my pocket. Ive plenty of other things I can do in football on a Saturday afternoon, I won't be sitting at home wiping my tears away with a Chesterfield scarf.

I was all set to watch the Coventry match, visiting my brother in Town first, but he cancelled and I found I just didn't have the enthusiasm to make the trip. Spent a lovely day walking in the Peak with my wife and daughter instead.
Caldwell doesn't fill me with enthusiasm but if he can get a big crowd and a decent performance to kick things off then we may sink with less of a whimper than I think we will. I'll be there Saturday as the match is likely to set the tone for Caldwell's initial reign-he deserves our backing to begin with.
These go to eleven.

I know a few season ticket holders who don't go because they "can't be bothered". It would be interesting if people would declare why they can't or won't go. If its Turner or Evans I think that's pathetic. What folly spending £400+ on a season ticket and not bothering.
