Perhaps Evans will score more when he is playing in the penalty box more. Against Coventry he was everywhere bar there
Caldwell alluded to this in one of his interviews

Thanks a lot - great contribution as always
Brief but to the point and sarcastically accurate... A lot better contribution than I've ever seen from you in any thread ever.

That's fair comment.
To me the reasons are the right reasons and they are based on morality (which is of course subjective) not football. He was a decent player- now an average striker. I wish we never signed him of course and he hasn't done anything of note at all for us that any average striker would. Like I said he started far far better than I thought he would but has plateaued and not done anything to write home about sadly. If he has to play for us I guess I'd want him to be banging in 20+ a season even in a terrible side (a Dave Waller type).
Certainly don't think he will be a town legend as AC said
Not trying to change anyone's opinion just being the other side of the debate.

Just seen something about a club that had enquired about Ched, but when told by us how much we want him they backed off. They then went to Ched's reps to ask if he would be interested in a move. Must reiterated it's just something I've seen on Facebook but we are apparently considering taking action against the other club for "tapping up" our player
So someone has the knowledge of approaches, then the price asked, then the pulling out of the agents / reps etc etc and they put this on Facebook?? Either Ched needs to have a word with his mates, the club need to have a word with their employees or it's a load of old tosh.
