For those of us who get very thirsty on an away day, looking at the train times it appears the earliest train on a Sunday to burton is the 1109 from town. Sommat tells me that's gonna be a very busy train unless someone knows of a better way to get there

1139. If it's just one of those 2 carriage jobbies then people are gonna be hanging off the sides. Can't believe this is the earliest you can get to burton by train.

Maybe not such a great idea then. Maybe the car's looking the favourite again!

Without having looked, is there not the option of changing at Derby or somewhere out that way?

There's one slightly earlier that involves hours at Derby.

It wouldn't be an issue if the Brunswick was open.
