James Beatie's had all the players out knocking on doors to drum up some more people to attend the match on Friday. Free children's ticket with an adult ticket and an easter egg for each child. Average attendance this season has been 1500!!!

Fair play to him, nice to see an ex Prem player go and work lower down instead of taking an easy job in the media.

We don't think this kind gesture extends to away supporters though :-)

Understandable really. They're playing possibly the most unfashionable side in the division who will do nothing but play longball after longball all game. Not an enticing prospect.

Maybe once Josh, but not any more. Clearly you haven't seen our recent games, we've started to play some decent stuff.

Yeah, can't say I've seen your side too much recently, fancy that eh?

I saw your three set piece goals against Rochdale. You must have played some brilliant stuff to score those three.

Also, you're still posting. Do you ever tire of making yourself look a bell end?

LOL... I just knew someone would say that. Have a look at the build up, especially the move and Clucas's run which led to the corner for the first.

Hope Beattie's plan works, it's always been like a morgue whenever I've been there in the past.

As for looking like a bell end, I can't change people's opinions unfortunately.

I hope Mansfield win so this fantasy about getting in the play-offs gathers pace.

We're certainly due one Westie, think our record v them is 4 defeats and one draw.

BTW I've just put £1 on us to win promotion at 50/1, so that's Starsky's bet covered :-)

A lot of people laugh at their crowds, but you have to remember it's about the size of Dronfield and slap bang in the middle of Burnley and Blackburn.

Yes you can. You can stop posting when you say you'll stop posting instead of carrying on reading the threads and responding. It's genuinely embarrassing - you have no self control. God forbid you ever attempt a diet or an exercise regime.

I'll be honest, will power has never been a strong point of mine.

I thought this was a decent thread started, that's why I posted.

It's never been a strong point? Surely not? You must be kidding me.

Anyway, I shan't ruin this thread so I shall withdraw (and I will actually do it - I know, amazing right?)

Maybe because the gesture is aimed at a game against us?

 The Accy fans have no belief in their side even though they have put in some good performances against the "stronger" teams in the league. It's going to be a case of "use it or lose it".Back the club or drop back into non-league. :unsure:The club are trying to encourage the fans, good luck to them.
Many a good tune

Reading Luke's contributions to threads feel like watching Groundhog Day with Russell Brand in the lead role instead of Bill Murray

(repetitive and annoying)
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Well to have 2000+ posts since October on a rivals message board, that is unbelievably sad.

I consider myself to frequent this board fairly regularly (browse a few times a day, odd post here and there) and I no way near match that sort of level - and this is the team I support.

to be fair, a win tomorrow might make it more realistic.

The teams between them and the play offs are playing each other so let them dream for a while longer.

Come the end of the season, their injury time miss against us might come back to haunt them!
