Anyone see him as a permanent deal for L1? Not convinced as yet

I think this signing has allowed Roberts to have a rest, but whether we'd seek to use him over a full season, not so sure
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

He strikes me as a decent player, in an average kind of way! He aint going to be any better against L1 defences, thats for sure, which may explain Peterborough wanting to offload him (if that's the case)

I think he has been fantastic. He seems quick, agile and tries to beat his man. Having said that I can see why he hasn't scored a professional goal.

I would also love to see him signed up on a permanent deal next season, even if it's just as backup

Its all opinions I suppose but any signing has to be with a view to performing well in L1, which I reckon raises a possible question mark re Kearns

Nothing aginst the lad as he does try to make things happen, but that comment IMO, is well over the top. I don't think he's quite good enough for L2, and nowher near L1 quality. You sort of answered the question yourself when you talked about his complete lack of goals (can't remember any assists either, though stand to be corrected.) IMO he shows nice touches with some nifty footwork, but NO end product whatsoever. Agree with keeping him as backup for the last few games, but that's all. I'd categorise him as a much inferior version of O'Shea.

How can you say he has no end product whatsoever?? He had a perfectly good goal given offside vs Newport and his cross-field pass which created our second goal vs Hartlepool was premier league standard and his crossing has been decent too. Arguably it is the strikers fault for not sticking the ball in the net. Plus when Kearns gets into a position to shoot he does so whereas with O'Shea he doesn't always shoot.

He has played 21 times in the Championship so not sure why you don't think he can manage League 2. Good contribution at Hartlepool and vital part in second goal. Personally haven't seen him have a poor game yet. Happy to have him.

Agreed, hopefully we can sort a deal come the end of the season, he has a bit of flair and creativity about him

Not good enough for league two? If his comment was over the top yours is flying.

I'd like to see who categorises as 'good enough' for league 2 in your book. Wouldn't like you to be my manager lol

How is he not good enought for league two?? He would be the one of the first names on the team sheet for most sides in this division, we just have the likes of Roberts and O'Shea who are better

Not sure if he is the answer for next season, but he's done well while he's been here. Keen to take his man on and go outside him (something lacking from some of our wide men) and is a bit more direct. Certainly played his part.
On the subject of loans, are all our players staying out on loan till the end of the season now? Thought it would be good for chapman / brown / devitt to be here and be involved with the run in.
If you do what you always do, you'll get what you always get.

A tad harsh would be an understatement
