Can't remember a Derbyshire player getting a hattrick very often!

Can we move this onto the cricket thread - personally I am easily confused!

Echo the sentiment of the start yesterday - 15 wickets in a day. If that was the County Ground, pitch inspector would be on his way up...

From the Cricinfo report re the pitch inspector...
"There was little to perturb the ECB's pitch liaison officer, David Capel, who ascribed the wickets to good bowling and poor batting."

Tempted to go down tomorrow all three results still possible. We could have done with a wicket before close but hey ho.

Three matches in and already looking as bad as last year against inferior attacks.

The batting is looking very weak bar the odd score and Madsen\Chanderpaul. As least we have plenty of coaches to try and sort it!

Shiv is an expensive mistake.

Hughes, Borrington not worth their place in the side. Same could be said for Durston.

Borrington isnt playing...he's currently in the process of nearing a hundred and a big partnership with Scott Elstone, who has already gone past a hundred, for the seconds today!

Dreadful performance. For me out go Godleman and Hughes for Elstone and Borrington. Alex Hughes for Wes if he's not careful very soon.
