Sorry to keep bothering you all, but we've still the proverbial mountain to climb regarding the Memorial Garden Fundraising. From £1 to £500 will be more than welcome - here's how you can help:

http://www.justgivin...memorial-garden is the simple route via the web.

Help the Belgians at https://www.justgivi...om/thewalkingBS they're 20% to their target.

Text GARD02 to 70070 - you can put any amount in, just £1 would be great, £10 would be brilliant.

Bid for the items on ebay http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1555.l2649 £55 just now

http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1555.l2649 £66 as I write.

Potential business sponsors read this http://www.chesterfi...Memorial-Garden

Thanks to all who've already helped and thanks in anticipation to those of you who will help in the (very near) future. It's appreciated.

What's happening in terms of the 'Bob's Board' game, pal?

This might be the perfect 'good cause' for any excess dosh this season.

i am up to my neck in the kids football chris and could not dedicate the time to collecting money,i have set up a summer league for mini soccer in partnership with cfc...what we may do is play a game at brookfield on the 3g,we can get that really cheap charge £10 per player and make a few quid that way for the charity, just need to borrow the kits and i can get the brittania to put on some snap after.

Talking to several such folks, nothing doing on bricks as they're on 26 week delivery and no discounting even, but hope to get something sorted with steel and building blocks amongst other stuff.

Just organising a couple of dinners, one small scale (Poss 2 June) one bigger (2 Aug), and for the badge collectors amongst you we're having a Memorial Garden enamel badge which I hope will be available for the last match of the season.

Ebay items stalled a bit this week, run out Saturday about 12.30ish, still at great prices, so don't miss out.

Two more great lots to follow.

As the only local building with the right style of bricks is a football stadium, I hope it isn't being demolished!

They are the specific "blue" bricks used for the rest of the build.

Armand still at £66 and Drew moves ahead at £72 - both bargain prices for unique shirts.

Bidding ends just after noon on Saturday - links on 1st post in this thread.

Note that Charlie Last and pal Alan Hobson will be doing a static bike ride at Tesco in Chesterfield from 4pm-8pm on Friday 9 May, the day before Charlie's Chain Gang cycles over the Pennines to Man City's Memorial Garden to raise funds, so save your shopping that week until then and give them some support and chuck a few coins in their buckets!

Only a tad over 90 minutes left on these lots - let's try and make at least £100 for both shirts. Two new lots on straight after, will post link when available.
