I believe he signed a two year deal last close season.
Unfortunately, he has been injury prone this season and, as such, another RB should be on PC's list for next season as without Dariikwa, who I think has been held back by filling in, we would have really suffered.

Given PC's position & assuming Rico's on his way, my shopping list would be as follows:
RB (assuming we're promoted)
LB
RW
LW
2 x forwards.

Depending on the retained/release list I would hazard a guess at the following;
LB, CB, CM, CF.
For the following reasons;
LB - I am highly doubtful Smith will stay and although Humphreys has been an excellent performer this season we still need cover/future first team player
CB - I am going with the idea that Brown (and probably Hird) will be leaving which will leave us desperately short at the back
CM - I assume Togwell (and probably Hird) will be leaving which will leave us without reasonable cover in the middle
CF - I assume Rico will leave, but we will have Doyle and Gnando (Although I suspect Armand will be loaned for the season/6 months and we will bring in a loanee during that period)
I think Talbot will be lot wiser and more suited to playing RB in League 1. I can't see us needing any further wingers with Roberts, Darikwa, Gardner and O'Shea (I assume will stay) plus Doyle as an emergency.
I would suspect that would leave us some room to manoeuvre a little more in the transfer market.

Brown wasnt bad when he played so maybe he will be kept on? Plus we have that defender from FCUM coming in, so no need for CB, esp if Hird is retained. I think we need RB as you never know if Drew's problem will be cured. That said, I suppose a RB could be loaned in if necessary

He was fine against Peterborough who have very good wingers.
However, Tendayi is much better further upfield and always likely to get a goal as he gets into good positions - he had 5 to his name before being moved to cover for DT.

Id be happy to see Drew & Tendayi linking up down the right.. I'm just not convinced that Tendayi can do the same job that Drew does for us week in week out (when fit )

I'm a bit surprised that everybody seems to think Brown will be out. What bit we've seen of him he's looked a good,strong defender - bit raw perhaps, but a decent prospect.
And wasn't he one of PC's surprise finds from non-league? Unless he's done something really daft - apart from being indiscreet on Twitter - I'd have expected him to be kept on. He won't break the bank,after all.

Not so sure on Brown. Done well enough on the couple of games he has played. But has he done enough? I think he would be a solid L2 defender, but now we are moving up a division and have the kid from FCUM who knows.

As full backs Drew is the better but he has had some poor games this year as well as being unavailable for large spells. We can't allow this to happen next season.
However, as a midfielder Tendayi is way in front.

It was before he really broke into the team so you cant really use it as an indicator.
Looking at Soccerbase he came on at halftime as we turned it around at Notts County in the JPT game in October that season, played a full game in the league loss at Notts County in Feb then didnt play again until a full game in the last game of the season. It wasnt until the following season back in League 2 that he started to get a regular game and then only from the middle of September onwards after Sheridan left.

Well you've not see the same games as me and, perhaps, the majority. Apart from being caught out at Southend I can't recall these 'poor' games you claim he's had. In fact until his injury he was one of my considerations for 'Player of the Year' insomuch that he gets on with the job quietly, without fuss and has contributed an enormous amount to our early season success, including assisting the goal and scoring the penalty at Oldham that sent us to Wembley.
I've witnessed some outstanding performances from him with very few errors. Talbot is the ultimate quality professional who will walk League 1. Darikwa needs to push on and bring some consistency to his game.
