He hasnt turned it down but clearly looking at his options. Think he would have signed by now if he was going to,but doubt he will be with us next season hopefully im wrong

He has little to gain by signing now, we will be shafted without him though.

By not signing it he has effectively turned it down.

I would be more concerned about getting Clucas on an improved contract, chances are he will be off in the Summer.

He's under contract for at least another year so it will be up to the club if he's off in the summer but I totally agree I would be offering him darikwa, morsy and raglan longer improved deals finances permitting!

Though I am sure their respective agents will no doubt be whispering in their ears...

Players with Ryan's ability and attitude, and in the price bracket we signed him, come along very rarely for clubs at our level. Very very difficult player to replace.

Indeed. Will be a sad day for the club when he leaves. Replacement? Starter for 10, Anthony Wordsworth, contract up at Ipswich this summer. Hardly played for them. I suspect his leanings will be a more southerly based club though.

Very true mate. But ultimately if weve offered what we can afford and he either wont re sign or is waiting to see what the summer brings there's little we can do about it!

Thing is with Ryan where would he go?
I don't think he's good enough for the Championship (he's to small) and all the clubs above us are stacked out with midfielders.

Would he drop down if he could get more money?

I think he should stop with us and see what next season brings.

His performances since coming back in, though generally solid, won't have queues of clubs after him.

Since when does being 'small' stops you playing higher than League One? Think four of England's team least week, Cline, Baines, Delph and Sterling would take umbrage with that for a start.
