His performances since coming back in, though generally solid, won't have queues of clubs after him.

I reckon any interested parties will have a slightly longer term view of him as a footballer.

Maybe. Scunthorpe United's view was to get rid and football club's aren't always blessed with the ability to make intelligent, long term decisions.

A prime example of why the country still lags behind...too small...i ask you lookat those big 3 donkeys we have upfront.

Add thats why we can't defend corners or score many from them.

Well documented that Scunny couldn't afford to keep him back in the summer of 2013. They had just been relegated to League Two, and their owner (Steve Wharton) at the time had told the supporters costs would have to be cut dramatically. It was only when Peter Swann put money into the club in December 2013 they started splashing the cash.

Jimmy was their player of the year as voted by their supporters. Bet Peter Swann wishes they had kept him.

Apparently Ryan's representatives haven't been in touch with the Club for some time.

My guess would be he's already got a move lined up.

Jimmy Ryan: cost nowt, helped CFC win the L2 title, reach Wembley and become L1 play of contenders.

No complaints from me.

Not even of Chris Turner. Unlike you to pass up an opportunity.

Have you anything but snippy and snidey little one liners to offer?

Or stupid comments you then claim were wind-ups?

Very true mate. But ultimately if weve offered what we can afford and he either wont re sign or is waiting to see what the summer brings there's little we can do about it!

Mate I completely agree I'm fully aware of the reality, my comment was more aimed at the folk who seem to think he won't be a big miss for us, and that a replacement will be easily found.
