Frozen my arris, the club are always quick to snap up the fans hard earned cash. The season ends early May, a couple of weeks later the ST discount ends. Why can't they wait until mid June? I'm not talking on for my benefit, its the younger element and those with kids should be given a months grace without having to pay for matches to give them the chance to save a bit of money for a few weeks before they have to shell out for a ST.

I'm afraid Dave it's hard nosed business, I don't know how this compares to previous seasons but it looks as though the club wish to know their projected ST monies prior to offering deals.
God I hate this league.

it's pretty much the same dates as previous years, and consistent with other clubs.
Anyone who is renewing a season ticket will surely have had the whole year without paying for matches and to save up?

Some clubs' early bird ends well before the season finishes incidentally ....

Won't people have had twelve months to 'save up' if necessary?

zebra finance is also available again this season. The way the prices increase are in line with the last 4 or 5 seasons.
BTW Derby's season ticket early bird price finished 15th March and season ticket holders have until 9th May to claim their seats. http://www.dcfc.co.u...es-2339990.aspx

Why is there an Under 16 category when kids can't leave full time education until they are 18? Not all kids have part time jobs and if they do they tend to work on Saturdays, meaning a no earning 17 year old pays full price. Fundamentally wrong IMO.

The advert has a season ticket price for "Juvenile 16 and under" but directly below it there is the price per match for "under 16's". As my boy is 16 I'm hoping, based on the wording, that I can get his ticket for £110. Was this the same last year ?

Do we charge 16 year olds full price? ,if so I agree I would like to see a price band for 16 to 18.

If we price them away at 16 we may never see them again

Who decided, once upon a time, that over 65s should qualify for cheaper prices for anything?

The concept is peculiar.

65 is the age of retirement and OAP's get most things discounted, you only have to look at the Derbyshire Gold Card magazine to see what discounts they qualify for.

I know, though the retirement age thing isn't the case any longer.

The question is why it's that way. It's become an accepted norm, but strip that away and think about it and it makes little sense to me.

I think it would be a nice touch if the club said anyone that has had a juvenile st for two years could renew at that rate until 18

It could also drive more season ticket sales for 14 year olds with one eye on this future saving.

But mainly as a thankyou for bringing along the next generation spireite and dooming them to a lifetime of frustration :)

I stand to be corrected, but I thought last seasons early bird season ticket for the Kop was £330? so an increase of £15?

Most over 65s (or soon to be 66s and then even older) are pensioners and pension income is invariably considerably less than what the individual would have earned when working. I guess that pensioner concessions for a few things (certainly not everything) were aimed at making things more affordable when this sudden reduction in income occurs late in life. Long may it continue!

I'm confused. Are 16 year olds in the 16 and under category or the concessions ?

Says 16 and under so my take on that is they still qualify for a juvenile st if they are 16 at the start of the season....is this correct. ...can anyone confirm this?
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+
