This is not the best news to bring in a few extra until the end of the season ( no disrespect meant to Nanndo, at least he'll give 100% effort). If we don't bring in someone to replace Lavery then to me, that'll be the Club saying to the fans, we've done our bit for the season we've survived relegation.Whereas, with a decent striker we still have a good shout at making a push for the final play-off place. I for one don't need convincing to stay with the Team and turn up for matches, but those who staye at home for the Gills.match won't ruch to come to the Proact.

Its a statement that the club feel the playoffs are out of reach , i for one agree but they cannot have it both roads and the gates will be down , perhaps the club feel that the gates will be down regardless from my point of view i feel its been an opportunity missed and i believevthst next year will be much harder if we dont get off to a good start then it will be a battle.

He's probably better/more effective than Mani. I suppose that's all you can say. Going back to starting with him & lumping it isn't what I want to see.

How many fit and ready strikers does anyone think are available, that would fit into our system? The reasons players are available for loan are they're a youth player needing to get experience from a premiership club (obviously no good to us as we need experience now) or a player that is on his way back from injury and needs games to get fit again (again no good to us).

That is the problem. He doesn't fit into our system.

We go too long too fast with him on the pitch.

just because he's been recalled, doesn't mean we're going to use him. I think he'll be on the bench and used as plan b in the last 10 minutes

Unless PC reverts to the 4-4-2 we employed when he was involved over Xmas.

Would him and Clucas make a decent pair?

Absolutely gutted to see this news were in the best position we've ever been in and we show the extent of our ambition by bringing back a player of his calibre ,when last week we were told we now need to strengthen for the final push,he refused to sign a new contract apparently then went to Oxford were he's played about 10 mins of football in league 2 that says an awful lot about his quality ,as for someone saying he's a better option than mani there both not good enough end of rant absolutely gutted

Not wanting to bash a player... but it speaks volumes when you're not good enough to command more game time in League two.

The only thing that will tempt punters is league position, not individual players.
God I hate this league.

Kyle’s arrival means that Armand Gnanduillet’s loan at the Kassam Stadium ends, while Giorgio Rasulo has also returned to his parent club, MK Dons.

I wouldn't read to much into him being recalled

...I know our bit says he's been recalled, but Oxford's bit suggests he's merely been sent back. This is no 'statement' and i think there'll only be a story in it if it turns out that Harrison for some reason continues to be unavailable.

I`m disappointed with this, but not because Armand is back, but because we have not signed a better replacement.

I had no problem with Doyle leaving, I understand the politics of football, both external and internal. I also understand the need for a good set of financial results, although I think using player sales to do this barking up the wrong tree.

I do have issue with the signings since Doyle left though. I`m far from convinced that the lad from Wednesday has anything to offer, and although Harrison has potential and could be a player, he is another for the future. Lavery was a positive, but when he left the club should have gone balls out to sign someone else. Heck I don't know who is available but someone like Leon Clarke etc...........

The risk no wis that by treading water the so called "floaters" will most likely wait till next season.

A new hope.
