An honest professional returns to play for Chesterfield and gets all this abuse.

Stay classy fellow Spireites!

For about the 100th time - the club told the fans the season was over the day they gave Doyle away. Getting Paul Cook to urge fans to 'Pack the Proact' is thoroughly hypocritical. I haven't got a clue what next season will bring.

For the 100th time that is an opinion only

I haven't seen anywhere in the tgread where anyone has named an available, fit, recognised, goal scorer?

Doyle?

Following his goal, aNd their decision to let KenwynneJones out on loan, you'd think he's got a decent chance of starting most games for the rest of the season.

I was hoping to read 'Cooper' or 'Doyle' when I read the thread title. Not with any conviction, but hoping nonetheless.

More chance of signing Tommy Cooper and Mrs Doyle

Are you still crying because zayn has left 1D as well?
For what it's worth I reckon if you asked armband he would much rather have the ball played to his feet.
If you do what you always do, you'll get what you always get.

From what I saw from the last home game with Doyle up front that Armand had an understanding developing with Doyler.

Now fast forward to Clucus up front- good runs, cleaved movement and quality finishing/attempts on goal (like he'd watch a Doyle DVD on being a striker)

Can Armand not recreate that 'understanding' with Clucus? Armand flicking balls on for Clucus to chase with his pace / hold ball up and lay off for Clucus' s runs / give to Roberts for killer pass for example?

I just don't buy this 'Armand is garbage'. He ain't no Drogba, he ain't no Thierry Henry but he's a big unit who can lay the ball off, flick balls on and can cause a nuisance for the opposition.

BTW, I read on sky sports he's not available for us this Saturday.

Yeah Armand puts a gun to Cooks head and says play me up front and lump the ball to me. Has it not escaped your notice that Armand is not very good at that tactic? He played his best football with Doyle, ball on the floor. Cut the personal hatred of Armand out shall we.

I presume because officially he wont have been recalled until the 28 days are up which is after Saturday. He signed for them on the 2nd March so 28 days is 30th March which is Monday meaning he isnt available for us until after this date.

A kind lady pointed that out on the other thread. Doesn't say much for his impact there that they don't even want him tomorrow.

I don't blame Amand, it's not his fault, he is not good enough for this level, and may not be good enough for the level below.

I blame the financial mismanagement of this club by the hierarchy which has been monumental

A very glib comment re Armand same as your opening gambit - personally I think you should look back on the season and remember his contribution to some very good results. You are entitled to an opinion but the way it comes across is lacking respect for a player of cfc who has contributed to stabliising our position in L1 and who on occasions has been the main catalyst in obtaining the necessary 3 points on the day.

The way that some posters come across on this forum says more about them than the topic under discussion at that time.

God I hate this league.

I agree and I cannot understand why our own can continue to make disrespectful comments about Armand, and hide behind their keyboards. If they got chance would they say it to his face?

Really? I don't think there was much of an understanding or partnership at all. Roberts was constantly telling Armand where to stand, where to run.
A new hope.
