Wilko and Aldi pretty much the same as Greggs. I avoid them if at all possible.
Wetherspoons is ok - cheap beer and a good quality selection (Devils Backbone or big bottles of Moretti for 2.99 is a very good deal)

Snob!! Nothing wrong with Aldi (or Wilko- it's basically Woolworths isn't it)?
Wether spoons must be different up north to down in London then

You know what you're going to get with Wetherspoons and the beer is always decent.

The only thing I know about Aldi is that they change the name of products to sound like well known brands which has got to be a p+sstake.

Well if you don't actually know anything about Aldi maybe don't judge? Plenty of decent stuff there.

You're probably right close but I wouldn't mind that sort of turnover from Dirty Chavs, Students or anyone else that buys from there. It can't be that bad to rake it in.

p.s. The Wife's just text me and she's bought us a Sandwich and a Sausage & Been Pasty from Greggs for Tea as we don't have time for anything proper. She is not a Student and definitely not a Chav or Dirty, so I'm going to have to disagree with your opening statement.

You cant have everything

I wouldnt be surprised if there are some strange H&S rules that stop them from being installed. I genuinely have no idea if its true but i cant say i've ever been to a ground where seats are installed in concourses.

A supporters bar would have been the answer

Providing they could have made it worthwhile outside of 23 home games a season....but been there had those arguments...

its pretty much what you'd expect at football
perhaps a steward to organise the queueing a bit better, or one of the those zig zag rope things they have in the post office, to make queue more efectively.

Serving staff who look like they are interested and smile and want to serve as much as possible, in the short space they have to flog stuff, can't be an easy job, but do smile you know, and have the ability to pour a pint whilst doing something else as well, bar staff in pubs manage it.

Have 100 or so pints ready poured by half time and a dedicated isle for those who just want ale.

Here's my twopenneth: (I'm in the West stand, C2/C3 entrance)

I used the concourses a lot when the stadium first opened and I was prepared to queue (for longer than I thought necessary) as I wanted the club to benefit from my money. Now the novelty has worn off, I don't bother using the kiosks especially at half-time as it still takes far too long to get served as by the time you have your pint/pie they've kicked off. Having said that, I sometimes manage to squeeze a pint of Brampton at half-time as the lady there is quite organised in 'pulling pints'.

What would encourage to use the kiosks more?
1) better choice of beer (I'm not a Carlesberg/Worthington mass-produced beer drinker). We have a good selection of local beers ie Brampton, RAW etc. Note The BeerParlour is doing a roaring trade in real-ales, therefore confirmation the demand is there.

2. Quicker service i.e. somebody pulling pints and building up a stock, that can then be handed to server as required. They had this organised at The iPRO very well. I understand the need to avoid waste, so some trial & error may be needed to get the 'through-put' right. Same goes for coffees & tea - it takes too long, so why not get some prepared ahead of the rush.

3. Food/confectionary, pies are ok, but service is to slow.

You can see there is a common criticism here - slow service... If we can fix this, I'm sure the club would sell more. So how to fix it? I've offered some ideas above, maybe another is what they do at the Winding Wheel, you pre-order, get a ticket and collect at half-time?

And here is the $64m question:
Q. What would get me to come to The Proact earlier and spend my beer money there?
A. You know the answer.....
A SUPPORTERS BAR!!!

Offer chips/fries on the menu...put a queuing barrier in place around food counter to stop gangway getting blocked...position TVs against the wall & not centrally in the gangway, as yet again this cause a bottle neck....finally put memorable moment pictures on the walls...hurst scoring, niven scoring, Lester holding jpt etc

Just a reminder, email the club using the email address provided in the opening post. I am NOT doing a mass email with everyone's comments.

On the subject of bogs, can we have those nice lemon blocks in the urinals.

Might tempt me to having an extra pint
