Warfey - Just come across this. I don’t really know you from Adam but I’m a fellow Spireite and a fair bit upset that the only reply you’ve had (publicly anyway) is from DIFH. I’d be fibbing if I’d come right out and say were I in the town vacinity I’d pay you a visit but you deserve plenty more replies than this. Though I can’t get there meself and many others based locally can’t either for a myriad of reasons, the least you deserve here is some validation, I think. Here’s mine. Good on you mate. Hope you get out soon and see a much better new season!

I can sort of relate to how Warfey feels - my wife was in hospital for 5 weeks a few years ago and 5 weeks more recently, and I know how depressing it was being in for day after day - even when she had visitors. There were some people in who saw no visitors in weeks. I also had the joy of visiting my cousin in Lodge Moor back in the 70s when he broke his neck in an accident - the guys on his ward always liked getting visitors..

I'd pop along Warfey but its a long way from Hertfordshire. However keep the faith - hopefully they will get you out soon and the stay will have been worth it for your health.
