Released certain players at Barnet in the knowledge that he was off to be manager here,(he did do the release list before resigning) and that he would be in with a good chance of getting them here..
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

The 2 we've signed, he told Barnet to offer new contracts to. Nelson as never offered one and Weston turned it down.

Based on reputation and the way he talks, I don't think he is the type of person who would be that dishonest.

I think Barnet would be making some pretty loud protestations if there'd been skulduggery. I haven't heard anything myself.

Barnet will perhaps feel that they've done alright out of the whole reshuffle thing. Note that John Still resigned from Dagenham a day or two before being appointed Barnet boss.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.
