Jesus! I love this man already....his interviews, his honesty, his passion, the motivation he must give to players.....how he has spoken about the new signings....loves Maguire & will make him the best...hilarious how he spoke about Gozi Ugwu & Dennis.

This really is the next Paul Cook! He joined us with the same passion & look how that turned out.

Within a week MA has won over 90% of the fans & long may it continue

This is going to be a VERY GOOD season, you can feel it.

Easssssy tiger...... Lets not get carried away. I genuinely share your your thoughts on how he has started (and I was very sceptical about his appointment) but lets get a few wins under our belt before we Christen him the new Paul Cook.

Another one of Carson’s great decisions.

Agree a great start and what a refreshing change. The hierarchy's at most footballs club have alienated themselves from the fanbase. Hopefully this goodwill will continue when the games start coming thick and fast.

Agreed. I like what he says, how he says it and how quickly he's setting up his squad...

... but I've still yet to see what the on-field product looks like. The signs so far are positive though.

How can anyone possibly be excited until we start to see results on the pitch? After what we’ve had over the past 3 years

There were plenty of fans excited by SEB, O’Grady, several of the new managers, Anyon, Wiseman etc etc

He’s entertaining. Fans feel kept in the loop, he’s a bit of a breath of fresh air. But that’s all so far

He’s also a manager who took over a team who were dead & buried then raised them up enough to miss out on staying up by goal difference. So he’s got enough nouse about him tactics wise.

The main thing for me is that he starting to make us feel good about ourselves again. Both Martin and the new signings are reacting as though they are joining a great football club. It's true we have some good people working within the club and decent, knowledgeable fans supporting it. Only trouble is, we are going to have to let Wrong Kit out of the cupboard sooner or later and we know where that is going to end

Have a look back on the Wiseman thread when he signed.
Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.
