That's clearly been his brief, he mentioned it in the interviews when he was appointed.

He's doing a good job of endearing himself to the supporters and it's noticable that Wrong Kit has had his wings clipped and been told to stay out of the spotlight (FA investigations aside).

If nothing else I'm sure it's helping to sell a few more season tickets than we might otherwise have done and so the brief would seem to have been a sensible one.

There is nothing better than somebody quirky like MA, there are far too many generic coaches listening to fa bull shine courses and not thinking for themselves, the bottom leagues are full of talented players but these players may have issues or flaws and somebody needs to manage them and work out how to get the best out of them, a happy team is a successful team
