If, say, ten people clubbed together to sponsor a stand and were wined and dined before taking their padded seats every game for a couple of seasons, I wonder if that might compare favourably to the price of doing so on a match-by-match basis.
Obviously that would've been a version of purgatory over recent years but you see my point.
Besides, given the licence enjoyed by a small time sponsor these days who knows what doors might be opened...
