How refreshing for a change with MA and his personalised announcements :D

As much as it is causing a giggle or three on twitter/facebook, how refreshing is it to have club news and announcements made with a bit of passion and care and not the usual bullspit and false drivel of the previous author/s.

Carry on doing what you're doing Mr Allen.

Take care,

Agreed. Nice to see somebody who'll stand up and be counted and put their name to things, rather than our club's usual lack of paper trail.

Was thinking the same after just reading them. Positive step in the right direction (for a change ).

MA is good, no nonsense lower league manager.

No ifs or buts,no nonsense.

So has the culture at CFC changed?
A new hope.

Does anyone know if this has been his approach at his other clubs or has he recognised a specific need to relate to fans here? Whatever it’s a real change for the better.

He says in the Peak FM interview he's always written his own press releases and he's also got a column in the Daily Mail

Daily Mail nooooooo! Fascist rag run by a sociopathic tax dodger. Paul Dacre is in the first ten to be up against the wall come the revolution. As for Martin Allen, nice touch but I'm waiting for results before I decide if he's a great guy.

Jesus no. The Daily Hate is the worst paper in history, closely followed by The Sun, Star, Express, Telegraph, Times & Evening Standard. In fact the whole tory media is repulsive.

I don't read any newspaper, although I will pick & choose articles from any publication online. Just as long as I'm not giving any money to those disgusting billionaires who poison the discourse in this country with their vile right wing agenda.

Would this be the Daily Mail that fought hammer and tong to bring the murderers of Stephen Lawrence to justice or the Daily Telegraph that exposed the whole MP's expenses racket? Today the 'Mail' pens an article warning of the dangers of the rise of fascist groups.

How do you reconcile your opinion with this and which newspaper would you recommend?

Right wing agendas and left wing agendas invariantly lead to the feathering of ones own nest.

Never ceases to amuse how the mere mention of the Mail brings some people to a seething rage of hate and bile
