I enjoyed this interview. I'll take the positives from this. You have to listen hard but compared to the radio Sheffield interview I thought it was more user friendly.

* Jump on board it's going to be an exciting ride. I'll make sure of that.

* We need to get the club back in League One. Then I'll sell.

* I'll not let this club go under.

A few week ago I called for Dave Allen to make a statement to the fans. He has. I was looking for some optimism and I think I got some. He is what he is, somewhat like a brusque uncle I had in back in Bolsover who didn't take prisoners.

He was there today just not sat at the top table and taking a back seat when it came to interviews

I enjoyed that interview in a strange way and I'll actually pick a few positives to take to heart.

Poor old Joe had to get his words in between the bangs on the table but there was a perfect moment to drop in the obvious question about how multi million pound player sales failed to make us self sufficient and how he allowed that to happen.

Im sure some of what he says is correct but he comes over as a proper “big head” with replies full of “muscle”. Frankly, that doesn’t impress me and what he fails to grasp as a self-confessed successful business man is that when your customers have a problem with you and your product, you have a problem, even when, however mistakenly,
you think you’re right. Oh dear!
