To be fair if someone offered me a massively improved Salary, Perks and potential to improve myself, for the sake of my family and with the potential to retire sooner to enjoy my family and life, I think I would jump ship and I wouldn't think my workmates would think I was a Judas.

He left because the player budget allocated is not sufficient to take us any further than he has done. Feel a little bitter myself, but that's football for you. If any fantastic players come along then they too will be sold as recouping his loan is more important to D A than taking a chance for promotion.

Doyle told CFC he wanted to go and accepted Cardiff's offer.
Are they both classed as Judas or are they just doing what is best for them financially

If/When he does a good job at Portsmouth, his stock rises again and he moves onto more money.
Calling him Judas after everything he's done is not only downright disrespectful, its pretty stupid.

Walob andy awford was on 80k. Cook will be on maximum 120k. The 2k per week is probably pretty close

Nowhere near. Sheridan was on £120k 3 years ago.
With CFC, PC rose from a pittance - £65k, through a good pay rise last year because CT knew he was on such a low scale that he could be tempted away, to a salary similar to Sheridan.
My guess is £3.5k a week + heavy promotion based bonuses. To be fair, his football achievements warrant that kind of money. His baggage meant that we would never pay it.

Where did you get that from? His new contract gave him more than that as an absolute basic I thought, and he always referred to himself as 'well paid'.
I think your information is wrong.

Let me ask you this, you go for a job interview this afternoon offering you a 100% pay rise. Tomorrow you get a call to offer you the job, now obviously you know the job market and there is plenty of opportunities but you have no other interviews or job offers in the pipeline.
If your motivation is to increase your personal remuneration which I expect it is like us all, you'd be a fool not to take the job offer because nothing else is guaranteed and even more so in the football industry and therefore, there's no point ridiculing Paul Cook.
He is not a Judas in any way shape or form. He left us at the end of a very successful spell and season and improved his profile an salary as a result so fair play too him. I know there are plenty of rumours and stories to indicate he wasn't a saint behind the scenes but in no way is he a Judas because he's done was 99.9% of people on here would do in their daily professions.
Get a Grip and forget it!!

It's the way cook left that left a bitter taste. No honesty or integrity. No one can call him for going he should just have admitted it
