Which approach would get the higher attendances:-
lower ST/Match day prices?
Higher ST/Match day prices?
Or is it more to do with the cost of beer, wine, spirits and food?

I`m struggling to see how higher matchday prices would boost the attendances.

Continuing to play well and staying top 6 will ensure good attendances, simple as that.

It's probably more to do with the price of gas, electricity, short hours, cut backs, unemployment and the cost of new school uniforms at this time of year as opposed to booze prices

IMO there are the extra 2-3000 fans who are not convinced we'd do anything this season. The longer our run goes on, the stronger chance we have of attracting them back. Not going to happen overnight though.
Edit: the club could help though through improved sales and marketing strategy to attract in additional fans.

That's just about what I think . A lot of people got disenchanted the last time we went up.Next couple of matches crucial.

If they took off their negative heads and took a neutral look at the last 5 years of CFC and they might actually see the Wood for the Tree's.
Money invested with a Structured Repayment Plan.
Better Players brought in at lower costs and Sold/Moved on for Profit
Better quality Football consistently
Better Ground & Facilities
Better Management & Backroom Staff
2 Championship Promotions
2 Wembley Appearances
Plenty of Belief
No RPL
The Time as never been better to be a Spireite.

Not sure about the "continued investment" bit

Plus a a gradually increasing core of support that are willing to travel away. We are getting up there with the one of the best away support in our league for our catchment size.

On here the people who moan about crowds are usually the ones who moan on here about everything. If they spread the word like they do on here with prophecies of doom and relegation it's hardly going to attract the neighbours and mates to the ground. Sometimes it's just easy to blame the club and things like the state of the economy and our own actions don't count. We are a relatively small town and considering where we have com from the crowds we get aren't bad at all in my opinion. Improvement long term will see a steady increase with time. No matter how well we play reality is we aren't going to fill the ground at this stage of the season
