Preston are a decent side. A point at Deepdale will be a good result.

If we play like we can play, we have a good chance of getting a result. Preston on paper should win Garner, Kilkenny, Gallagher, big buys but they are not clicking. We might lose but we have good reason to be positive. Milton Keynes are up there and we did well and could have won against them.
WE HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR!

Interviews with Cook, Clucas and Johnson.
Don't forget we're on tomorrow night with full comms if you're not going along.
Farries and me will be on and hopefully Sam Hird again too. I hope the club allows him to travel as he was brilliant on the mic on Sat.
Cheers,
Tom

I know what you mean. I`m still at the point where my expectations for this season are, shall we say limited.
6 games isn't enough to gauge how the squad will fare over 46 games....but if we are still in a play off place by the time we play the Blunts, then maybe, just maybe we can start to look up - realistically at the top end of the table - rather than below at the bottom half of the table.
At the moment I don't think anyone really believes CFC are capable of maintaining a top 6 place - but we shall see how we go.
Next 4 games -
Preston away
Doncaster away
Notts County home
Blunts home.
Don't expect much from Preston, I reckon we can beat Donny, I expect a win at home against Notts County. Blunts at home? Why cant we beat them?
7 points from those 4 games will be a great return IMO.

I just think if we get 4 points from the next 2 aways, or even stay unbeaten in them, then the place will be rocking against County and the Blunts.

Well there's one here that DOES really believe we can finish in the top six, given average luck with injuries/refereeing decisions etc. Normally I wouldn't dream of making such a statement before we'd played 15-20 games, but this team is so obviously capable and cohesive that it's already clear we can match anybody in this division. I think this team/squad/management deserves the Chesterfield public to really get behind them and get 8 or 9 thousand down at the Proact for every home game. When we went a goal down on Saturday the fans made the effort to lift the team, and the players responded brilliantly - just imagine the momentum we could get going with a packed stadium!

Great stuff.
King Kev on Preston Player isn't bad either. Nearly 9 minutes, over 6 of them devoted to his time at CFC.

Still a bit early yet, but if we carry on as we are, CFC could be a surprise package.

Bang on...I just wish more people would turn up win, lose or draw.....because you will see more games full of sheer class & entertainment than drab boring ones, like in League 2
If we could start getting that extra 1000-2000, it would be great
