Predictions for results and line up?

I really have no idea on the result but i think our strongest line up will be out Saturday

Lee
Darikwa Evatt Georg Jones
Morsy Ryan
Clucas Johnson Roberts
Doyle

No reason why we cant win!

Apart from the midfield trio - can't see us using 3 left footers, especially with Clucas on the right. I'd still keep O'Shea in there instead of Roberts..gives a better balance...well thats my opinion

I think the only decisions to make will be around that midfield three.. the rest of the team sort of picks itself

Thought Jayo was very quiet against county for large periods of the game.

I'd be tempted to give Gardner a start if fit. Looked a handful when he came on.

Dont think Clucas has done enough to be considered an automatic choice for the left wing slot. I would prefer a Roberts Johnson O'Shea or Roberts Johnson Gardner midfield three combo. The rest picks itself.

To be fair to Clucas spent more time in defence than attack

Perhaps Cookie will give him another start on the left, but theres a few chomping at the bit behind him.

Apart from two clumsy tackles second half Clucas has done ok in the games so far. Gardner looked strong and a handful when he came on. Cooky has problem but whoever he picks will be ok. Morsy and Jones are the ones that need to play.
FASTER....FITTER....STRONGER

O'Shea is a game changer for me. Bench. Gardner i would be tempted to start on the right along with Johnson and Roberts. The above was just my predicted line up.

I would also like to see Roberts Johnson and Gardner start.
Johnson's performances has had me eating humble pie, which I will gladly continue eating!

Gardner is a quality winger who will crate opportunities for Doyle, just like Roberts and Johnson will. I would be very confident if that was the front trio. Please win town i can't be bothered with the Blunts giving it me in the ear hole.

Some blunt already started in the office here...crowing now they are above us, our slide down the table has started and they will beat us 8-0 apparently. Very glad he's moved desks recently further away from me!

If Morsy is back what about Banks?

Its good that we have selection issues where there are too many players to pick from whereas at the start of the season it very much looked like being the other way around

I think the only conclusion from the selections are.... We have some cracking players to chose from.

Upto press we have all agread with,

Morsy, Ryan, Banks, O'shea, Johnson, Roberts, Gardner and Clucas in Midfield.

TD, Evatt, Magreitta, Jones in defence.

That takes us up to 12 players without Tommy and Doyle.

Then there is Bocco, Armand, Humphries, Onovwigun, Dawes, Gboly and not forgetting Talbot & Hird or Raglan & Broadhead.

Who envies the Managers task

Let them get on with it. It'll be even sweeter if we can win and you won't even need to say anything on Monday.

The conundrum for me is who to start on the right wing - Gardner or O'Shea. As I've said many times I really rate O'Shea but thought he was quiet on Saturday whereas Gardner came on and caused County a lot of trouble. Then again O'Shea came on against Donny and helped turn the tide of the game alongside Armand. Selection headache indeed.

Is Boco out of the question on the right of midfield. Do we go a LOT more defensively minded to start with bearing in mind our recent early conceding of goals. I can't see who we can include to tighten the defensive side of things.

Looks like another all out attacking plan.

God I hate this league.

Forgot about him tbh, we've got a wealth of attacking midfield options at the minute, that's for sure. He wouldn't be my choice but I can see why some would have him there.

I'd be inclined to start O'Shea if it was a toss up between the two. That said I wasn't there at the weekend. I like both of them but O'Shea shades it for his ability to do something unexpected.

I think O'Shea was feeling his way in on Saturday. Was his first start for a month wasnt it? He was probably only 80% full throttle.

I would expect him to be far more lively against the blunts with that under his belt. Just edges out Gardner for me.
