I think in recent years our chants/songs had become a bit tiresome and dated. A fair amount of them involved swearing which doesn’t fit into today’s society especially with the family orientated crowd we now have. Full respect has to go to the Kop for introducing the new songs which are catchy and modern.

Saltergate was special and some of the atmospheres were electric but sitting in the East stand I think the noise generated against Notts County was as loud as I’ve ever heard.

I hope it continues.
